As one of Nashville’s most reputable songwriters, Wiseman truly understands the creative value of intellectual property.  Along with penning several #1 singles and countless chart-topping Country songs, some of his well-deserved awards include the 2004 Grammy for Best Country Song with Tim McGraw’s “Live Like You Were Dying”; 2006 ACM and CMA Song of the Year for “Believe”, performed by Brooks & Dunn; and ASCAP Songwriter of the Year in 2003, 2005, and 2007.  In 2009, he was recognized as the Songwriter of the Decade by NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International).  With all of his success as a songwriter he was able to establish Big Loud Shirt Industries, an award winning Independent Music House, of which has earned recognition as a top-ranked overall publisher in Billboard Magazine.  As both a songwriter and owner of an independent publishing company, Wiseman is fully aware of the frustrations that one may endure while trying to attain accurate and detailed data in an ever-changing entertainment industry.  Big Loud Bucks was developed to protect the lawful rights that this vital group of creative clients should receive and to ensure that impeccable, personalized services are provided to suit each client’s specific needs.  

 

In response to the owner’s desire of having statements that tell him everything he wants to know, quickly, clearly and without a lot of fluff; we’ve created “The Big Skinny”®.   This one-page, industry leading summary allows business professionals to easily view the value of a publishing catalog in a way that even the most distracted songwriter can understand and appreciate.  Along with “The Big Skinny”, we also provide quarterly reports such as: extremely detailed Royalty and Licensing Reports as well as Statistical Analysis and Data Projections for individual songs based on Neilson SoundScan reports.  We believe in providing our clients data in real time.  For instance, if one of our clients has just attended a double platinum party, it’s very important to us that those two million units are accounted for on the next statement.  

 

Rather than just monitor royalty activity, Big Loud Bucks intends to seek out new revenue streams. We aspire to be writer advocates and exploit our clients’ songs for all sorts of uses; however, we do not currently provide song plugging services.  The market is opening itself up to new royalty streams and new ways for songwriters to stay in this profession so our employees are taking the initiative to seek out these opportunities for our clients.  It’s evident that our client list has grown in size and weight since the beginning and we’re just getting Bigger and Louder!!!
